Join professional naturalists on a guided tour of the wildlife hotspots of breathtaking Bald Head Island! See amazing wildlife while learning about and exploring our pristine beach, maritime forest, and salt marsh.

If you’re coming for the day, Conservancy staff members will meet you at the Deep Point Marina in Southport, NC with ferry tickets. You will board the 8:00am ferry and enjoy a 20 minute ride to the island. Conservancy naturalists will meet you at the Island Marina with golf cart transportation and binoculars. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be driven back to the Island Marina.

Restaurants, sail shops, a beach access, and the Old Baldy Lighthouse and Museum are within walking distance of the marina. Your return ferry ticket may be used for any ferry. This allows you to enjoy the entire day on Bald Head Island.

Reservations are required to ensure staff availability.
$40 per person (non BHI Conservancy member), includes ferry ticket, tour, and golf cart transportation for the tour.
$36 per person for off-island, BHI Conservancy Members

If you’re already on island, meet Conservancy staff at 9:00am, at the Barrier Island Study Center.

$20 per non-member.
$18 per person for BHI Conservancy Members.
